Research
DIRC is sought out for its expertise in drug information and knowledge translation. We know pharmacists,
and we know how to communicate with them. DIRC works in close collaboration with a variety of partners on
a number of initiatives focused on research, pharmacy practice, primary health care, disease management,
e-health, drug utilization, and information management. Through all of these projects, we used drug
information to support the key role of the pharmacist in the health care system while reducing health
care costs through promoting optimal drug utilization.
